Agreement and eligibility
By accessing signaturebgremover.app, uploading a signature image, creating an account, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and follow the laws and organizational policies that apply to you. If you use Signature Background Remover for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

The Signature Background Remover service
Signature Background Remover helps users submit one JPG, PNG, or WebP photo or scan of an existing handwritten signature, separate visible ink from its paper or photographed background, compare before and after, and download a result. The English tool accepts images up to 10 MB. The selected image is displayed in the browser before submission; after submission, our Worker and configured image-processing provider generate a temporary result for comparison and download.
Processing access may depend on sign-in, available credits, plan entitlement, provider availability, and other current service limits. Each completed signature background-removal task currently uses 2 credits on credit-based accounts.
What the service does not do
The service is an image utility for preparing an existing signature image. It does not generate, redraw, forge, stylize, verify, or certify a signature; create legal signing consent; establish a person's identity; or guarantee document authenticity.
It is not designed to erase, alter, or conceal a signature in an already signed document. It also does not guarantee perfect extraction or professional editing quality. Review the result and keep the original image whenever accuracy, identity, legal effect, or evidence matters.
Your images and responsibilities
You retain any rights you have in signature images you submit. You are responsible for having permission to upload, process, retain, and share the images and information you provide. Do not upload images that contain private information, another person's likeness, confidential material, or content you are not authorized to process.
Blur, glare, paper texture, low contrast, pale ink, background objects, model limitations, or missing source information can affect a result. You are responsible for reviewing the visible ink, edges, loops, and thin strokes before using the downloaded PNG.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your account, sign-in method, browser profile, device, and session secure. Provide accurate account and billing information, do not share paid access outside permitted use, and notify support@signaturebgremover.app if you suspect unauthorized account or payment activity.
Access, credits, subscriptions, and billing
The Pricing page describes current monthly subscriptions and one-time credit packs, including the credits and usage access associated with each plan. Prices are shown in USD before applicable taxes unless checkout says otherwise. Paid access begins after payment confirmation.
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days at the interval and price disclosed at checkout until canceled. Subscription credits refresh with the monthly plan cycle, and unused subscription credits do not carry over to a new cycle. Credit packs are one-time purchases, do not renew automatically, and their credits do not expire while the account remains active and the purchase has not been refunded. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal and normally leaves access active through the paid period.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload, process, retain, or share signature images or information without authorization.
- Do not use Signature Background Remover to violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, employment, records, sanctions, or other laws.
- Do not introduce malware, evade security controls, impersonate another person, abuse authentication, or interfere with the service.
- Do not use automated activity to overload signaturebgremover.app, the configured API service, our payment or licensing systems, image-processing providers, or third-party services.
- Do not resell access, share a license improperly, bypass plan limits, or misrepresent Signature Background Remover as a professional signing, identity-verification, certification, or compliance authority.
Third-party services
Signature Background Remover relies on third-party products such as hosting, authentication, payment, analytics, advertising, and image-processing services. Their services are governed by their own terms and can change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue functionality without our control. Signature Background Remover is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Apple, OpenAI, or any signing, document, or identity institution.
Ownership, availability, and termination
Signature Background Remover and its software, design, branding, documentation, and other service materials remain owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms and the applicable plan, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the released website for personal or internal business purposes. Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass licensing or usage controls, or create a competing service from protected parts of the product.
We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, integrations, or access when reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance, third-party changes, or business operations. We may restrict access for nonpayment, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal necessity, or material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Signature Background Remover is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every browser or device, perfect reproduction of every visual feature, a correct result for every signature image, or suitability for a particular legal, regulatory, tax, safety, identity, document, or professional requirement. These disclaimers do not exclude warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Signature Background Remover and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of content, records, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service. Aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Signature Background Remover during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes, questions, and disputes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date on signaturebgremover.app. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance where permitted by law. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact support@signaturebgremover.app and provide enough information for us to try to resolve the issue. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
